Mr. Cotter recently tried a dissolution of marriage case in Orange County, Florida which contained a tort claim for injuries inflicted upon the wife by her husband during the divorce proceedings. The Judge dissolved the parties’ marriage and entered a monetary judgment for the wife against her husband in an amount in excess of 1.1 million dollars.
